Our way of designing
Our designs revolve around client driven, clean, effective and environmentally proactive architectural solutions. AC | A will always promote durable, low maintenance and sustainable architecture on all projects we undertake. We will if required, go to the lengths of taking into account the sourcing of the materials to minimise their impact on the environment together with the life cycle costs of construction.
Principles of sustainable design revolve around key design decisions such as:
Solar orientation of a building
Sustainable material sourcing
Energy requirements and renewable energy usage
Heating, cooling and passive ventilating systems
Waste management

Project completion
In today’s multi-media world, we are able to provide our clients with a number of drawing techniques and via an array of different formats.
Our main way of working is via PDF format, submitted at A1-A3 size drawings via email or hardcopy. Our skills centre around a design initially sketched out, then precisely drawn on computer aided design software to provide you with clean crisp line drawing for whatever your purposes are.
We have a range of illustration tools from hand-drawn and AutoCAD drafting techniques to Photoshop and Sketch up images, rendered to give you either the technical or the illustration drawings you need to realise your aspirations. We are able to provide sketch models for spatial planning should the project require. Beyond the drawings, we administer our projects in a highly efficient manner giving you clear and concise guidance along the way.
